Day Ten- Deeply in Love

“Deeply in Love”- Mare and Laurence (Original by Hillsong)

In my life You`ve heard me say
I love you
How do I show you it`s true
hear my heart, it longs for more of you..
I`ve fallen deeply in love with you..

You have stolen my heart
I`m captivated by you
Never will you and I part
I`ve fallen deeply in love with you

You and I, together forever
Nothing can, stand in the way
My love for you, grows stronger
each new day.
I`ve fallen deeply in love with you

You have stolen my heart
I`m captivated by you
Never will you and I part
I`ve fallen deeply in love with you

You have stolen my heart
I`m captivated by you
Never will you and I part
I`ve fallen deeply in love with you

This is one of my favorite songs of all time!   I searched long and hard to find a super fresh vocalist who did this song justice.   I don’t know anything about this girl, but she did a super good job!  Support them here on Youtube (after you finish reading this post… hehe).

The lyrics really captures a deeper-kind-a-love that we all desire to have…

One of the reason why I love this song is because it uses the word “captivated” in it.  When was the last time you heard a love song on the radio that used the word captivated in it?  Exactly!  The word captivated is a heavy word that needs to be examined more in depth in order to truly love this song… here we go…

“Captivated” – according to Webster-dictionary.net

adj. 1. having an affection or admiration, caused by charm of the person or object.
  2. filled with wonder and delight.”

Two questions I ask of you…

Are you captivated of your significant other?

Are you captivated of Jesus, and what He did for you on the cross?
