Thanksgiving 2013
We had an enjoyable time at our annual college ministry Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you to all who came and to all our volunteers that made it happen.

June 1 2013 (Today’s prayer request)
Hey Grace family,
Please pray for us today. Grace Tokyo and our team will be having a gathering at Yoyogi Park today from 1pm-4pm (about 3 hours from now). Jireh, Daniel, Josh, and myself visited and prayer walked the park yesterday. Please partner along with us in prayer with some points below. Feel free to pray as you feel led by the Holy Spirit.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit will draw all the students and friends we have made along the way to come today.
Please pray that it will be a great bridge gathering for those we met to connect well with Grace Tokyo family.
Please pray that all those who will come will belong before they believe.
Please pray that the weather will be great today and that we will be able to secure our spot.

Join us for service tomorrow! Im speaking :)
Hey friends and family,
I am excited to share with you that I will speak my first Sunday morning message tomorrow (March 18). We will have a Next Generation service that will have our worship team consisting of high school and college students. We will also have a performance by 2 youth, Becca and Naomi, and will have my friend Josh do a spoken word poetry. Also, we will have a pancake fundraiser breakfast after both services to help raise money for our upcoming high school youth camp.
If you would like to come, you are more than welcome to join us this Sunday at either our 830am or 1030am services at Kahala Elementary School. Feel free to invite your unchurched friends and family to come and join us as well 🙂

Fix Your Eyes On Christ
I don’t normally stay up this late, but I found myself thinking of a lot of things, and I felt like worshiping God. As I was on youtube, I came across this song, and my heart was really captured and focused on Christ. I’ve heard a lot of covers of this song, but I feel this is the best rendition i’ve heard. Please support Lynn Cifuentes, she’s an amazing worship singer. May you all who listen to this song be ever fixing your eyes on Christ and not on your present circumstances for God is bigger than all of that.

I Just Want You
This song is so beautifully written! Personally, this song really ministers to me in my current season of life. I did not realize that my last post was over 8 months ago! Just reflecting on my life now… it has been a crazy, yet fulfilling YEAR! All this craziness led up to last month, and surely, July for me was an amazing month for me. Being back home in Hawaii, after a 16 day mission trip, God was speaking to me in so much ways, but being in the “mission mindset,” there wasn’t much time to be truly still before my God and reflect. Its August now, and been a week since I have been back home, and I have been able to be still and reflect a few times now, and slowly God is revealing His will for me. Surely, big and wonderful things. But of course, it is not easy- so much uncertainty, just faith and trust in my God needs to be arised in me. Yes, blessings awaits, but the blessing is not the end all. What matters most, is not the gift, it is my relationship with the Giver, my God, my Jesus. I hope this song recalibrates our hearts and focuses us in the right direction, from focusing on the gifts and blessing, to our Giver, our God, our Jesus. I hope this song blesses you in your life as much as it has for me.
