well i finally got back from my missions trip from Cebu and Dumaguete, Philippines..  (a few days ago)

all i can say is that God is AWwwwESOMMME!!!

I knew that my life would change..  but i didn’t think that it would change THIS much!

 prayer

glimpse into my past

when i got back to hawaii, i rested for a day, and the following day i went to work, and i remember standing there in Pac Sun, and then for the first time ever… I FELT OUT OF PLACE!

for me this is HUUUGE!  i’ve lived here in hawaii my whole life and i love hawaii, my families here, my jobs here, my schools here, my livelihood is here..  but this clear thought/feeling/or whatever u want to call it..  i know,  was not from me..

i believe that it was ALL God, changing and transforming my heart for Cebu..  i miss everyone there..  i miss everyones humbleness, love, vision, faith..

you know, i remember reading the bible before and i came across this scripture in the book of John, verses 9-11.. Jesus says..

As the Father has loved me, so have i loved you.  now remain in my love.  if you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as i have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love.  I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

i remember reading this before and i didn’t really get what it meant..  but after coming off from this trip..  and having time to really process everything.. God brought revelation to what it means..

.. the last words Jesus spoke before leaving the earth.. he says in Matthew 28:18-20..

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you.  And surely i am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

so for the entire hawaii team.. we set out to do just what Jesus had commanded us to do.. and that is to fullfill the great commission.. so for me..  during the entire time in Cebu we went onto different high school and college campuses and talk with different people and share God’s love with them, and we were a part of teaching high school and college freshmen about purpose and design..  we all had opportunities to share our testimonies about how Jesus Christ transformed our lives …  and for me.. going out and doing what God predestined us to do there.. even though we had long tiresome days..  i never felt so ALIVE, so on fire for God before, so joyful to be in His presence everywhere i went..  it was all overwhelming..  i really felt that i was really making a difference in peoples lives…i never felt such a pure joy before in my life..  God is so awesome and when it came down to that scripture God brought understanding that..  my JOy was made complete in Him while in Cebu..   because i was keeping in step with His Spirit and fullfilling the great commission… so thats why i long to go back…

i know my missions field is not limited to cebu.. but especially for this season.. hawaii is where God placed me soo..  my work is not done here.. yet.

there are so much strories to tell..  but one thing is for certain…  my work is still not done in Cebu..  my heart goes out to them and they are constantly on my prayers..

i have faith that GOD would provide me a way to go there long term next year… its definately a desire of my heart..

but i leave it God’s hands..i pray that His will would be done in my life..

.. but yes, i would not have been able to go if it wasn’t for God’s amazing grace and provision and for all that have supported me by purchasing my art and my music..

so from the absolute bottom of my heart…

THANK YOU and may GOD BLESS YOU ALL A BILLIONFOLD!!!!!
